JORDANA | Cherry Culture Haul Part #001

You probably know by now I just can't resist a sale or a good deal so when Cherry Culture had free worldwide shipping when you spent over $50, I was straight on the site and scrolling through it all. The order ended up being rather large so I have split the haul up over 3 separate posts, this one for Jordana products, the next for L.A. Colors and the last for NYX. Shipping took about a week and half from the States to NZ and they package everything so well - it's a great place to buy from!

These are the first Jordana products I have used. I always saw the Jordana stand at various $2/cheap shops and thought nothing of it, but over the past couple of months I have been hearing great things about the brand especially their lipsticks so ordered a few off Cherry Culture as they are SUPER cheap.

001. Fabuliner Bold Felt-Tip Liquid Eyeliner in Black // USD $2.99
Felt tip style eyeliners are my go-to, they are easy to use and generally very pigmented. I have others with much finer tips but saw this Jordana and thought it would be perfect to create a thicker, more dramatic eyeliner look. This comes out like a vivid and in one swipe is super black and lasts for the whole day - it is brilliant!

002. Twist & Shine Moisturising Balm Stain in Nude Chic + Candied Coral // USD $2.99 [each]
Of course, Jordana have their own addition of the 'chubby stick' trend, which they have dubbed Twist & Shine. The colour swatches on the Cherry Culture website are pretty terrible, especially for these and the lipsticks below, so doing some Googling before hand is the way to go.

Nude Chic is definitely in the brown shade family but is really only a tinted balm. Candied Coral is a darker coral shade. They feel nice and moisturising whilst still giving a bit of colour to the lips. They just twist up from the bottom so no need to worry about sharpening or anything like that.

003. Matte Lipsticks in Rio + Lavender Lady // USD $1.30 [each]
I got two of the Matte lipsticks and should have done a bit more colour researching as the swatches on the website are terrible representations of the actual colours. But I do like the shades I ended up with. Rio is a peachy orange and Lavender lady is more of a darker pink/light plum shade. They are really pigmented and the swatch shows 2 swipes. I wouldn't say they are totally matte, as they still keep a slight sheen to them.

004. Lipsticks in Strawberry Shortcake + Nude // USD $1.30 [each]
The last two lipsticks were just from their standard lines so a creamy and incredibly pigmented like the matte ones, but have a creamy sheen finish. The shade Strawberry Shortcake is a light pastel pink and Nude is more of a browny/orange shade - not sure about it but will give it a go! At $1.30 though you honestly can't go wrong!

I'd love to know if many of you have tried Jordana products and if so, what are the goods and what are the ones to avoid! At such cheap prices they seem to good to pass up!
