L'OREAL | Color Infallible Eyeshadow in Tender Caramel

I have to dedicate a whole post to this incredible individual eyeshadow from L'Oreal. This is from their Color Infaillible shadow line and is a semi-pressed pigment in the shade Tender Caramel. I picked this up on a whim a few weeks ago from Postie for only $4.80 (was on sale from $6), and had no idea how great it would actually be!

Being a semi-pressed pigment, means that it isn't as messy as a loose pigment but it still has the amazing pigmentation you find with pigments. The texture is very smooth and has that creamy, buttery feeling to it. The packaging is smart as well, and it comes with a insert that goes over the top of the shadow to help keep it pressed into the container, once the lid is screwed back on.

The swatch above shows only one swipe and it gives full shimmery, iridescent coverage with an amazing satin like finish. The colour is highly shimmery, and has a bronzed/taupe colour but is multi-dimensional and changes colour slightly in different lights. I find applying it with your fingers creates the best coverage on the lid; using it with a brush picks up a smaller amount of the product, but it then can be built up. The shadow stays all day, has little fall out with incredible colour pay off.

You can find this shade and a few others at Postie, or you can buy them from MyBeautyStore for $15.00, although they don't currently have this shade in stock. I am very keen to pick up a few more of these Color Infaillible shadows, so I'd love to know if you have tried any, and if so, what's the best colours to get next?!
